FAQs: Before Your Pet's Visit

Q: How can I make reservations for pet boarding, daycare, or grooming services?

A: Please call our Reservation Center at 877.PETS.PLAY (877.738.7752). We will ask you specific questions regarding your pet in order to set up a profile and create a reservation. Pet Paradise does not require a temperament test or interview prior to boarding.

Q: What vaccinations does my pet need to stay with Pet Paradise?

A: Please have your veterinarian fax or email the current dates to us or bring in proof of current vaccinations upon arrival.

  • Age Requirements: Puppies must be 12 weeks of age or older and must have had at minimum Rabies, DAPP (2 rounds) and Bordetella.
  • Required Vaccinations (administered by a veterinarian required):
  • DOGS: Rabies, DAPP, Bordetella
  • CATS: Rabies, FVRCP
  • Currently, Pet Paradise is not requiring dogs to be vaccinated with the canine influenza vaccine. We do, however, encourage you to talk to your veterinarian about canine influenza and if it is appropriate depending on your dog’s lifestyle.

Q: Can I take a tour of Pet Paradise?

A: You (and your pet) are encouraged to tour the facility prior to your boarding reservation. Pet Paradis offers a complimentary day of day camp or night or boarding for new customers, with proof of up-to-date vaccinations. This allows your pet to become acquainted with our staff and resort scents to help ease the transition into boarding. Stop in during our business hours if you’d like a tour.

Q: Can I bring my own food?

A: For the benefit of your pet, Pet Paradise recommends that you bring their own food pre-bagged per serving per day to maintain your pet's normal diet. This also helps prevent upset stomachs. However, we do provide Hill's Science Diet as our premium house food for $5/per day/per pet. We can accommodate refrigeration need as well.

Q: What is the minimum age for boarding my pet?

A: The youngest age Pet Paradise will accept is a 12-week-old puppy or kitten. Your pet must be up-to-date on all vaccinations and have had at least their second set of vaccinations: Rabies, DAPP (2 rounds) and Bordetella. Once a puppy reaches 6 months of age or develops maturity, and they are unaltered, they will only be allowed play sessions with a Pet Paradise Playtime Coordinator or with other dogs from their family.

Q: Can I bring my pet's favorite toy, blanket, or bedding?

A: To ensure a flea and tick free environment, we ask that you do not bring any bedding, fabrics or plush toys. Additionally, we ask that you please do not bring any rawhides, as they can be a choking hazard. We provide all guests with premium bedding and blanket at no additional charge.

Q: Can my dogs stay together?

A: Yes, same family pets may stay together. However, unaltered pets of opposite genders, over the age of 6 months, must be boarded in separate suites. There is a discounted rate for the second and subsequent pet(s) using the same suite.
